Volunteers are essential to our program. Our participants benefit just as much from our volunteers as the volunteers do from their experience! As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to encourage individuals to become more independent and confident. It has often been said that it is better to give than to receive, and by volunteering with Art For All, you can offer the greatest gift of all — happiness. Moreover, your volunteer efforts can help broaden someone's horizons and teach them new skills, which can greatly enhance their personal and social development. These new skills might even lead to increased confidence, independence, or potentially a career path.
Art For All is looking for volunteers willing to work with adults 18+ with developmental and intellectual disabilites. Some of the activitives we offer to volunteers include:
Assisting art instructors with art lessons
Set up and clean up of artists work area
Assisting with special events (fundraising activities, events, festivals, museum tours, artist receptions, field trips)
